OC Kids Preschool and Kindergarten is a State Licensed Infant, Preschool and Kindergarten Center.
We have an age appropriate curriculum for each classroom that includes counting, matching, early phonics and organizational skills. We also encourage sharing, dexterity, learning classroom rules such as raising your hand and waiting your turn, manners and much more. We offer our 2 and 3 year olds FREE and gentle guidance into Potty Training and good hygiene habits.
We offer a variety of fun extra preschool and kindergarten activities such as dance, gymnastics, swimming lessons, soccer and FREE computer instruction.
Academics form the foundation of our morning program focusing on an age appropriate schoolroom structure. The afternoon is filled with a mix of craft projects and play-based learning time.
At OC Kids Preschool and Kindergarten, we strive for academic excellence through age appropriate practical exercises in the areas of language, math, geography, science, sensorial activities and practical life. I am originally from Illinois. At 4 years old my family moved to Southern California where I was raised. My dad is a retired Postal Worker and my mom has always been a Stay-at-home-Mom. They have been married for over 67 years!
I attended Redondo Union High and have also attended Long Beach, Cerritos and Saddleback Colleges. My studies included Interior Design, Art classes of almost any kind, Marketing and Accounting, and Business Courses among a variety of other interests. I have a large very close family and when we all get together we have a great time. I have two sons and while they were small I was a Stay-at-home-Mom. I have owned OC Kids Preschool for over 3 years and during that time the school has gone through a transformation inside and out. Unexpectedly my school has become a very special part of my life/heart, as have the children and their families. What a joy! |
